I LOVE these chairs! Bought the twin pack to take to Aruba. The beaches in Aruba are public and they have palapas that are free to use if you can find one. We scored a palapa and there are always huts nearby that try to rent you their chairs. Luckily we didn't have to do that! I was able to pack them both in my checked luggage! The high back connector was easy to do. Very sturdy and comfortable chair! My husband is 6'4' and 250 lbs and he was comfortable! The padded arms are handy to use when pushing yourself up on your feet. Just keep in mind it's a low sitting beach chair so if you wanted to sit higher from the ground or sand, it won't be for you. The carrying bags are good quality too and we folded them up and slid them in the velcro pillow pouch, worked great as neck pillows! They are about 6-7 pounds each so keep this in mind if your packing a checked suitcase since most airlines only allow 50lb limits for checked bags. This was a great buy!Definitely worth the extra to have the high back compared to the standard low back. Sturdy and folds down really compact, I keep them in our boat and they are perfect for relaxing next to the water!UPDATE - our replacement chairs have made through a week vacation at the beach and we’re great. Really comfortable and no rips this time. Leaving off one star because we had to return the first ones, but the new ones have been great!Original review:I really like these chairs - super comfortable and easy to carry to the beach. BUT after one use the fabric tore (see pics). I am returning and getting a replacement because I want to give them another chance. Really hoping this was an exception and the replacement chairs will hold up.I use this chair for outdoor music festivals. It arrived with one of the stabilizer poles poking through its nylon carrying bag. I needed the chair and did not have time to return it. The chair needs assembly each time you set it up, and it takes patience and strength to depress the metal tabs to attach the back head rest. Once assembled it is a comfy and a fabulous chair.These chairs are very comfortable. The angle is just right to lay back and relax, and the high back makes it that much more comfortable even for someone 6ft tall! So far these seem sturdy, working well for a 220 lb person. Not as light weight as I had hoped, but that is likely because of them actually being sturdy chairs. Still very portable and easy to set up.Love them! They worked perfectly and were very comfortable and are nice and portable!These chairs seem to be good quality, comfortable, easy to set up. However, read the dimensions carefully. They're really 30 inches long in the carry-bag, which requires a big suitcase! I'll have to return them; they won't fit in my luggage.Definitely a great beach chair,low to ground..was great, sturdy and worked for me even with a bad knee!
